Roswell Park Launches Groundbreaking Program for Young Adults

On Friday, February 11, 2011, RPCI announced the kickoff of its new Center of Excellence for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) with Cancer. This new initiative, funded by Ryan Miller's Steadfast Foundation, will address the medical, social, psychological, cultural and educational needs of young adults (ages 15 to 29) facing cancer. Lynda Beaupin, MD, has been named the coordinator of the AYA program, which is the first of its kind in New York State!
