Bengals Go Bald! Buff State Athletes Talk On-Air With DJ Anthony

On Wednesday, February 18, student-athletes from Buffalo State College joined DJ Anthony and Yroswell Street Teamers in the Kiss 98.5 studio to discuss their Goin' Bald for Bucks event. Listen to the full radio spot to hear their stories.

During their February 17 Goin' Bald event, 45 total haircuts were given and over 90 inches of hair were donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Maria DePeters, head women's volleyball coach, stated, "The student-athletes totally exceeded my expectations in raising over $4,400. I am so proud of their participation and what they accomplished. Hearing all their stories on how cancer has affected them breaks my heart, but makes myself along with Buffalo State Athletics want to run this event yearly so we can continue to make a difference."
