Lake Shore Students at the Kiss 98.5 Studio

Lake Shore Eagles: The School That Started It All

Tuesday, March 17, 2015

On March 11, students from Lake Shore Central joined the Yroswell Street Team and DJ Anthony at the Kiss 98.5 studio to discuss their upcoming Goin' Bald For Bucks event. Listen to the full radio spot!

Tony George, Lake Shore History Teacher, started Bald for Bucks more than 13 years ago to show support for his sister, Cathy, who was battling breast cancer. When he shaved his head in solidarity with his sister, his students wanted to do the same. More than $4 Million and 55 schools later, a movement has been born. We can't thank Tony George and Lake Shore students & staff enough for their commitment to #AWorldWithoutCancer.

Check out all the great photos from Lake Shore's in-studio visit.
