The Amherst Tigers Bald For Bucks Fundraiser is Roaring!

The Amherst Middle Tigers are gearing up to go Bald For Bucks again this year! In preparation for their event on June 1, ten students and their teachers went to the Kiss 98.5 studio to record some radio lines about why they're excited to go bald and what it means to them. Many of the students have been affected by cancer in some way, whether it's a parent, friend or family member - they have all seen someone close to them battle this disease. These students are taking the initiative to raise money to support cutting-edge cancer research at Roswell Park and they are truly making a difference. Four of the students have already raised over $1,000!

Going Bald For Bucks is extremely easy and anyone can do it. Visit baldforbucks.org to sign up your school. If you'd like to help out the Amherst Middle Tigers fundraise for their event, go to Friendly's on Maple Rd. on Tuesday, May 30.
