Olmsted School 156 Students Visit the Kiss 98.5 Studio

Olmsted School 156 Raises Over $10,000!

Friday, February 16, 2018

Students from Olmsted School 156 visted the Kiss 98.5 studio on Wednesday after Goin' Bald For Bucks last week for the first time in school history! They toured the studio, hung out with DJ Anthony and recorded lines about their event for the Kiss 10 at 10. They chose to go Bald to rally behind two of their students who were diagnosed with cancer. Many of the students also have family members who have been affected by cancer which made this cause very special to them.

The school did an incredible job fundraising and raised over $10,000 for cancer research at Roswell Park. The students and teachers came up with a lot of cool fundraising ideas including crazy hat day, bake sales, duct taping a teacher to a wall and a pie throwing event. Twenty-seven students and teachers all particpated and either went Bald or donated their hair.
