Transit Middle School Is Moving Up The Ranks!

Transit Middle School just completed their fourth Bald For Bucks event on Friday, March 1. They raised over $31,000 and are ranked in third place among all of the schools who have signed up to Go Bald in 2019.

They are also featured in seventh place on the Bald For Bucks School Honor Roll, which ranks schools based on their cumulative total from all events held over the years. They are expected to move up even further after their total donation amount from this year's event is added in!

On Wednesday, March 6, they met DJ Anthony at the Kiss 98.5 studio to talk about their event, thank their donors and have a pizza party to celebrate their accomplishments. All of the students had very meaningful reasons behind their decisions to Go Bald. Whether it was for a relative, friend, sibling or teacher—everyone could relate to the importance of this cause. 

All of the students did an amazing job fundraising and were able to share some of their unique ideas and tips about how they collected donations. Listen to their radio lines below to hear what they had to say!
