Join the Street Team Today

Yroswell’s Street Team is currently made up of over 80 high school and college students from schools across Western New York who share a common goal in creating a world without cancer. This network of community-minded students raises awareness and supports Roswell Park by attending various events to spread Yroswell’s mission. Applications for the Street Team open in the fall.

After joining the Street Team in 2017 and visiting Roswell Park, I decided I wanted to make a difference for the patients by providing them with some sort of comfort while they were staying at the hospital.

Sickle cell disease is one of the most common hereditary blood disorders in the world, and it affects many people right here in Western New York. To mark Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month in September, we present information and tips to help patients and families cope with this disorder.
