Another Successful Year Goin' Bald

Thursday, June 25, 2015

Goin’ Bald for Bucks wrapped up the 2014-2015 school year with great success! This year, students and teachers from more than 50 schools shaved their heads or cut their hair for cancer cures and patient-care programs at Roswell Park. Several new schools in Western New York and Rochester went Bald for Bucks for the first time. By cutting their hair or shaving their heads, the students showed cancer patients their support and were able to raise money for the fight.

THANK YOU! Goin’ Bald for Bucks would like to thank all of our community members, individuals, groups, and school supporters for joining in the fight this year. Check out our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram sites for updates and photos from our events with #BaldForBucks. Inspired to participate? You can go Bald for Bucks as an individual, with a group, or with your school, too. Now is the time to get on your school’s radar for next year. Visit baldforbucks.org to register and join the movement towards cancer cures! We need you in the fight against cancer. Every dollar you raise will make a difference.
