Newfane Middle is Goin Bald!

On Wednesday, February 15, students from Newfane Middle School went to the Kiss 98.5 studio to hang out with DJ Anthony and the Yroswell Street Teamers and talk about why they decided to go Bald For Bucks for the first time ever. Their event is Friday, February 17 and so far they have raised over $10,000! Almost all of the students have been personally affected by cancer in one way or another.

Whether it is their aunt, grandma or family friend who is battling this disease, the students have come together to raise money and go bald to show their support. One student, Brianna, had cancer twice when she was younger and is so thankful for her friends and her teacher who were there for her during her battle with cancer. Now she is giving back to show her express her gratitude and show support for others who may be fighting against cancer.
