Street Team

So many things changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses shut down, people lost their jobs or were sent to work from home, and all schools closed.

This year, I was given the opportunity to be a part of Yroswell Street Team and it was such an amazing experience.

Evan Kopp, Travis Unocic and Nick Yemma, members of the Yroswell Street Team, are hosting a fun open skate at Cornerstone CFCU Arena to raise money for The Ride For Roswell! Join them for this awesome event and show your support for cancer patients at Roswell Park.

After joining the Street Team in 2017 and visiting Roswell Park, I decided I wanted to make a difference for the patients by providing them with some sort of comfort while they were staying at the hospital.

Yroswell is looking for enthusiastic and outgoing high school students to join the 2018-2019 Yroswell Street Team. If you or someone you know would make a good fit, apply today!

Being a teenage girl, I never realized how many different opportunities there were for me to give back to my community or to make a difference in someone's life.

It’s Friday afternoon, and school is out. One would typically expect most teenagers to instantly race to the malls, or to the movies—not to a cancer hospital. But at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), a cheery, adolescent face brightens the medical scene.

Performing artists from Kissmas Bash 2010 – Miranda Cosgrove, Maroon 5, Neon Trees, Charice and Kevin Rudolf – show their support of Yroswell and Roswell Park Cancer Institute and encourage all young people to get connected and help create a world without cancer.
